Monday morning I woke up to an ugly sight. My computer had a blank screen with some text on it. The text indicated that the machine could not find the hard drive.
Uh-oh.
I tried some tricks I know to revive it. Nothing.
Now, the good news is that MOST of the data on there was backed up. The bad news is not all of the backups were as up to date as they should have been.
I am now trying to decide between replacing the hard drive and replacing the whole darn machine. It’s old, outdated, but it still works. (Except for the hard drive thing, of course.)
So that is why I have not posted all week.
So, here’s some advice. Take advantage of Black Friday today, but don’t go nuts.
